Oh sing to the LORD a new song!
Psalm 98
Let me marvel for I can scarcely take it in.
Let me sing of the awesome wonder of my God!
He sent His servant Gabriel, with the Message of His Holy Spirit and a new Son was conceived, a Son was… born again! He went to those who should have recognized him, but they said this message sounds foreign to us. The clergy turned up their nose at him and the Levitical priests said he is not one of ours. Who raised His Son? It was the right arm of the LORD! As he came of age, His Son stretched his hands to toward the Atlantic in the west and toward India in the east. In his land, an idol is not found. What is that sound heard throughout the day? Why it is the Son praising His Father! Who was His teacher? It was not the clergy in Rome nor the Levites. No, His teacher was His Father, the LORD of hosts, the LORD of the angel armies! Century after century, where were the Christians? Where were the sons of Judah for all this time? They were looking in the mirror singing their own praises! Does not every page of the Word of God declare His love for His Son? Does not every page declare His promise for them? Did He not speak plainly? Can they say they were not warned? Praise to the LORD of Hosts for His patience! For more than a millennium the Father has restrained his hand to give the nations’ time to see.
Come! See the elite gather in Israel against your anointed! Yes, in the streets of Gaza, the gods of men give Esau their blessing through all manner of gifts of death to murder the chosen Son. How they covet His Father’s Blessing. But look to the streets around the world! It is the children of Judah who shout, not in our name! It is the poor and cast aside who cry out for your Anointed One!
LORD, do you hear the children of Lucifer? They have placed the sin of the world upon your righteous Son! They are preparing him for sacrifice! In Jerusalem they have made their pact. It is there they have sold their soul!
Hear my shouts of joy! I shall sing to the LORD who from ancient times declared their end! What are bombs against the one who formed the universe with but a word? To the gods I say, show me the extent of your great might next to that of the King of all kings and the LORD of all lords! He laughs at humanity’s gods. He finds the full extent of their powers hilarious. As if a worm shall challenge Him. Has He not declared their fate from the beginning? Murder the Son and on the third day at the seventh trumpet blast look around. Who are these rising from their graves? Who are these among the angel armies? Who is the one with pierced hands who leads them?
Oh LORD let me stop and marvel at your ways. You make their scholars into fools. Children of Esau, son of Lucifer, where is your complaints now against the anointed of the LORD? What is your charge now against his chosen Son? Make your way into His courts! His son testified before you truthfully and you hated him without cause! Where is your mocking now? Tell us your alibi to avoid the Fire! All these years that His Father gave you to look upon His risen Son. Tell me Esau who was your god? Tell me who was the one you were following? To those who have earned, depart from me, I never knew you.
As for me, I shall praise the LORD, the God who fulfilled His promise to His servant Abraham. You need not look for me, for you shall know where to find me. I am with the Son whom your gods have sentenced to death praising Allah!
So, to the gods of men I say, mock me, muzzle me, imprison me and throw away the key, send me to the fire, or nail me to the cross alongside Him. I will not resist. For this is the path of the LORD’s chosen offspring. And then ask, what is that sound emanating from the cell, within the fire, or upon the cross? It is this song! It is me rejoicing!
Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar!
